To mark four years of collecting marine plastic under sail, Cornish charity Clean Ocean Sailing wanted a poster to celebrate their achievements and promote their work to the wider community.
Coincidentally their 66-foot shooner sail boat weighs the same as the plastic they've collected over the last four years. This fact was the inspiration for the poster’s concept to illustrate the vast quantity of rubbish. The cut-out, collage-style illustration also feature the charity's founders. This is the first in a series of planned posters, and was adapted to post-card format for a fund-raising event.
